Compare-locales needs a few files to be happy. In particular in preparation for 1.9.1, we're moving the locale data out of client.mk, into l10n.ini, see bug 445217. Should probably live in calendar/locales/l10n.ini. Not sure if you should have a filter.py next to it, to skip some entries that don't need to be localized.
calendar/locales/l10n.ini was added with Bug 457755. Is there anything left regarding this topic? The mentioned filter.py?
If you need a filter.py is up to Simon. compare-locales works without a filter.py, it really depends on whether there are entities or files that should be ignored.
Simon, if you still think we need to do something here, reopen? I think this is fixed.
