To fix this, you have to go into the profile folder, and delete: extensions.ini, extensions.cache, and extensions.rdf
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade to 3.0.1 with extensions installed
Actual Results:
I had to delete extensions.ini, extensions.cache, and extensions.rdf to fix the issue.
I have found this issue while assisting people in live chat.

what do you mean with "issue".
A fundamental required info in a bug report is to specify the issue you are having.

This is a standard way to reset some extensions stuffs and is not a bug report.
There are some extension authors who mistakenly set their maxversion to "3.0" instead of "3.0.*", and as such it'll complain that those aren't compatible after update. Report this to those authors for them to fix.
As for any other issues, please file a bug report. This, however, is not one.
