Literally it doesn't always work when I right click and select open in new tab. Nothing happens. But Ctrl clicking ALWAYS works

This works fine for me with Firefox 3.0.1 on Windows XP.
Did you also try this in safe-mode or with a new profile?

sorry, forgot to reply to this. Currently using FF in safe mode and no improvement.

Right, just deleted all versions of FF (I have 3.0b4 and RC1 installed) and reinstalled. Its fixed the issue I was having with spelling so I can only hope its done the same here. I'll let you know if it hasn't.
Sorry, dunno why I didn't try this sooner.
