447682 - New Bookmarks are not being retained unless I do a backup

I'm running 3.0.1 on OSX 10.5.4

The only addon I have is DownloadThemAll! 1.0.3

New bookmarks don't save between sessions..
I have all the bookmarks there that were imported from the previous version..
If I add a new bookmark, it shows up correctly.. but once I restart firefox, it's gone. The only way to make the bookmark 'stick' is to go into 'Organize Bookmarks' and back them up to a file.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click the 'Bookmarks' menu option
2. Select 'Bookmark This Page'
3. Click 'Done'
4. Restart Firefox

Cannot confirm on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1a1pre) Gecko/2008072303 Minefield/3.1a1pre. Could we have a confirmation on Mac?

So after reinstalling firefox, everything works correctly. I guess some of the files might have been corrupted somehow.

did you also create a new profile?
this sounds like bug 462366 but that would have been fixed only creating a new profile...
