would be helpful for testcase Recent Test Results to show the status of valid and vett settings
Thoughts on this potential interface? Does it add too much clutter? The first checkmark is for valid/invalid. All results default to valid. The second checkmark is for Vetted/Not Vetted. In the screenshot you can see the mouseover text, as well as how the existing comments interface is integrated. The valid/vetted checkmarks are only shown for admins.
I like the proximity of the status info to the comment widget. Showing only for admins might be OK for now. But if not, then might want to omit the "id#" and replace with "valid|vetted"?
I think we should have this a pref because some projects won't really actively use it and it adds some clutter to the UI.
Priority: -- → P3
I think any project that has a reasonable amount of test activity, especially those whose tests may change over time due to active development - and who have next to zero people fixing them - REALLY need this. It's sorely slow, boring, extra work to go into each testcase to see which tests have been vetted to determine if the textcase was fixed. OTOH, if litmus response time was blazing fast this not be a big issue. On bended knee.
seems like this wants more in depth thinking, because there are other queries with similar results list and zero indication of the status of the test result. Examples * recent failures * recent unclear * results with comments https://litmus.mozilla.org/search_results.cgi?has_comments=1 Given Marcia's comment - what are the use cases where someone goes to these lists and does NOT want to know the status of each test result? If it is not to work those test results, then it seems to me the usefulness of these reports is suspect. And to effectively work them, it seems to me you need to know whether the test result is already vetted.
Litmus is being decommissioned in bug 802674. Visit https://moztrap.mozilla.org for your testing needs.
