User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Search content in Unicode Japanese characters cannot be read. The search content is always blank or has white font colour. Selecting the content of the search does not permit to see the characters as well. The search results can still be retrieved correctly (but one cannot see what he has typed before seeing the results of the search). This is a regression as it was working correctly in versions 2. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Copy paste "日本語" in search field (cannot be read nor seen) 2.Launch search (results will be correct still) 3. Actual Results: The search field is always blank or has white font colour. Expected Results: Being able to see, read the search content using Unicode Japanese characters.
Summary: Search field in Unicode Japanese characters cannot be read → Search content in Unicode Japanese characters cannot be seen
Works for me in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20090901 Minefield/3.7a1pre
