I created the XML document containing syntax error. I know that the browser should ignore entire document and display XML error message. The error message is displayed, but the "redirection command": <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="1"/>
is executed, and xml-document title (<title/>) is displayed, which sould not happen.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open the following document in browser window:
"<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="pl" dir="ltr">
<head>
<title>Webpage with mistake…</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/xhtml+xml; charset="utf-8""/>
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="5; url="about:blank""/>
</head>
<body>
</html>"
2. Look at the title bar and wait 5 seconds.
3. Unfortunately redirection works!
Actual Results:
Title has been displayed, error message too, redirection has worked.
Expected Results:
Title from the <title/> tag should not be displayed, instead of that the address of the document should be displayed exactly like during browsing text documents, redirection should not work. The error message appears corectly.

This is similar to bug 387221.
Given incremental rendering of XML (from bug 18333), you can't expect Firefox to totally ignore the <title>. But it should probably go away as soon as the error is encountered.
