User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070400 SUSE/3.0.1-1.1 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070400 SUSE/3.0.1-1.1 Firefox/3.0.1
Since I up?-graded to 3.0.1, I have realised that I have no helper apps available in the settings panel. Whenever I select a file requiring an application to run/view/execute it, I have to rummage around with the Browse button on the 'Open With'/'Save As' dialogue. I don't know if it's relevent but if I want to preview some types of media file that rely on Kaffeine to view, FF closes and Kaffeine runs.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Assuming a recent Linux/KDE system
2.Go to Preferences tabbed dialogue (Edit/Preferences)
3.Select the Applications tab
Actual Results:
No entries in Aplication list
Expected Results:
List of available platform (Linux/KDE/Gnome) applications
This makes using the browser for any serious work nearly impossible
Ignore my comment about Kaffeine. I remembered that the reported behaviour was under a V2 of FF. Soz :)
