This may be because I have a slow PC I see a degradation of performance when I play video after Zoomed (or Unzoomed) the containing web page (full zooming). Steps:- 1. Go to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Fraser_island_australia_sand_track.ogg 2. Ensure you are not Zoomed/Unzoomed 3. Play video 4. Note how smooth the video is 5. reload http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Fraser_island_australia_sand_track.ogg 6. Full Zoom the page 7. Play video Result:- Play back on step 7. is not as smooth as step 3. Expected:- Both step 7. and step 3. smooth

Is this still an Issue? For me, using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100916 Firefox/4.0b7pre there's no Difference in CPU Usage in zoomed State or even changing the Zoom Level during Playback.
The problem as terrible in my old computer. And as the old computer dead now I am unable retest exactly. Hence I tested this with much more bigger videos I get saw on Web. Almost all I dont see any difference So making this as WFM An exception I saw is with http://pearce.org.nz/video/shuttle-launch.indexed.ogg Steps:- 1. Set following about:config items toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues = .04,.05,.1,.2,.3,.5,.67,.8,.9,1,1.1,1.2,1.33,1.5,1.7,2,2.4,3,5,7,10,15,20,25 zoom.maxPercent = 2000 zoom.minPercent = 5 2. Go to http://pearce.org.nz/video/shuttle-launch.indexed.ogg 3. Ensure you are not Zoomed/Unzoomed 4. Play video 5. Note CPU usage 6. Zoom the page 7. Play video 8. Note CPU usage Result:- user CPU usage is higher than previous case
