User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070400 SUSE/3.0.1-2.1 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070400 SUSE/3.0.1-2.1 Firefox/3.0.1 This "firefox-bugreport.txt" was generated at some point on one machine, I'm not sure what caused the bugreport and I'm not sure it's related. The problem, that the first page in a new window is bare html, however, seems to occur in both SuSE 11 installs I'm running (on two different machines), it occurs in Gnome, KDE3.5.9, KDE4.1, and with or without NVidia drivers installed. The URL is to a screen capture and an possibly related auto-generated bug report. The URL for the page Firefox displays is http://nielsolson.us/index.html Here is the text of the "firefox-bugreport.txt" that was generated, though again, *I have no idea if this is related to the bug I am reporting*, especially since I only got this bug report on one machine, which, as I think about it, may have been related to some really bad audio from KDE4's phonon earlier today when I was painting the livingroom. But I'm not sure, so I'll give you the text of that auto-generated bug report, in case it's related. But just to make sure, let me say again, I'm not sure it's related. I'm sorry, I just don't know. Since I can't cut and paste it, it's in the URL above. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Firefox -- first page is html only. And every page in that tab is html only. 2. Ctrl-T -- all new tabs render CSS and images and scripts, etc, just fine. 3.there is no three. Actual Results: see the screenshot in the URL: there's no css, images, scripting, etc. Just HTML. Expected Results: Normally rendered pages.

I tried to submit the bug on SuSE's site, but my login keeps taking me around in circles.

Are you still seeing this with the latest version of Firefox? If so, could you try starting up Firefox in Safe Mode so that we can ensure it's not caused by one of the many add-ons you appear to have installed? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
