Some images with transparant background fail in ff3.0.1 linux, mainly PNGs such as above, but also GIFs on the following page:
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/making-png-image-transparency-work-in-internet-explorer/
These images are fine with FF2/Linux and other Gecko browsers on linux
[seamonkey, epiphany] and on OSX 10.4.11 using FF3 3.0.1 and Camino.

Don't see the image

should be a dupe of bug 411831 (scaled images or images with transparency)
