45012 - Can't copy and paste from Mozilla to StarOffice

Normal mark and paste operation.  Can
select text or URL (in the address window), but won't paste to StarOffice.  Only
some sort of formatting information is created in the StarOffice document.

This bug is new
since (roughly) build 2000063008.

Copying within Mozilla works OK using either pulldown menu
or gpm (paste with middle mouse button).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Mark text to copy by
holding down left mouse button and moving the mouse over the text to be copied
(normal marking procedure).
2. Select Edit pulldown menu and click on "copy".
3. Change to StarOffice
window.
4. Click on location to paste to.
5. Select Edit pulldown menu and click on "paste" (gpm
middle-mouse-button-paste doesn't work in StarOffice 5.1 for pasting from any other
application).


Actual Results:  A formatting line with small boxes at the ends (and at one or two
mid-points) appears.

Expected Results:  The selected text to be pasted at the selected point.

This
bug has just recently appeared.  It appears that the information which Mozilla
is transferring to the clipboard is formatting information instead of the
desired text, or that the clipboard is being corrupted on switching from
Mozilla.  Copying text within Mozilla works correctly - that is, from one
Mozilla text box or window to another.

Fixed in build 2000071020.  Tested with StarOffice 5.1 and KDE Notepad.
