User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1a2pre) Gecko/20080815020705 Minefield/3.1a2pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1a2pre) Gecko/20080815020705 Minefield/3.1a2pre
When dragging and dropping a tab from one Firefox window to another, there is no tab seperator between tabs on the unfocused window. The tab seperator only appears on the focused window.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install latest 3.1a2pre nightly
2. open two windows, and populate with more than 3 tabs in each
3. focus on one of the firefox windows, and drag and drop the tab to the unfocused window
4. as you slide the grabbed tab to the unfocused window, slide along the open tab bar, between the tabs
5. Verify there is no tab marker as you try to place it between the tabs
Tab seperator marker only seems to appear on focused window.
Actual Results:
No tab seperator when dragging to unfocused window
Expected Results:
tab seperator appears when dragging to unfocused window

I assume the "tab separator" is the little down arrow that appears
above the tab bar (in the focused window) when you drag one tab
between two other tabs (it indicates between which two tabs the tab
being dragged will "go" if/when you let it go).
If so, I also see this on Linux (and also with FF 3.0.1).
So I'm marking this "All".

yeah thats what im' talking about. on mac, the tab separator is a blue vertical line with a loop at the end. Windows would be the blue arrow pointing down.

On Windows, I only see the insertion arrow when hovering slightly above the tabs (still on the tab bar, though), not however when hovering over a tab.

Can someone with Windows and Linux confirm?
WFM in 3.5 on Windows, and Mac according to comment 4.
