User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Firefox will stop responding to user input if you are reordering tabs when a modal password dialog appears.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have multiple tabs open, so that the tab bar appears.
2. Go to a site that pops up a modal password dialog box (like the one you get for HTTP authentication). The Outlook Web Access site http://mail.baylor.edu/ is a good example.
3. QUICK, while the page is loading (before the password dialog appears), drag a tab around on the tab bar (as if to reorder it).

Actual Results:
If you haven't released the tab yet when the password dialog appears, Firefox is non-responsive (i.e., no way to dismiss the password dialog box or get it to do anything).

Expected Results:
You should be able to get out of this situation.
