User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1 When tabbing through a form (like for purchasing items online), drop-down menus never gain focus and are completely skipped. Examples include drop-downs for state, country, etc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to a page that has drop down menus 2. Press Tab key to go through the form 3. Actual Results: Drop down menus never gain cursor focus Expected Results: The Drop-down menu should gain focus during the tab order. Note: Safari has this capability.
This is a Mac keyboard navigation setting. The tab key can be made to only focus certain elements, all focusable elements, or even none at all. You might want to check your system settings for this.
(In reply to comment #1) Yes. Open the Keyboard & Mouse pref panel, click on the Keyboard Shortcuts tab, and (at the bottom of the dialog) change "Full keyboard access" from "Text boxes and lists only" (the default) to "All controls". If necessary, restart Firefox. Now, as you tab through this bug's page, you'll find that its drop-down menus (aka comboboxes, e.g. "Status") will get the keyboard focus.
