451798 - Crash when running mochitests on 8.04

When running mochitests, we crash immediately out of the gate on builds from August 21.  However, I get two different crashes depending on whether I'm running on an 8.04 Ubuntu box or a 7.10 box.

I'm not going to rule out the possibility that the 8.04 build could have build-level issues.  

I'll attach some data.

I should note that a build of Firefox on the 8.04 box does *not* have this issue.

Attachment: Crash on 7.1 desktop fennec build

This is the backtrace from the crash on the 7.1 desktop build using fairly similar source as the 8.04 build - about an hour or two different is all.

The command used on to run the mochitests is the same in each case: python runtests.py --autorun --appname=../../../../mobile/dist/bin/fennec --log-file=desktop7.1-log.log

Note that the 7.1 build does run the mochtiests for a little while.  I'll attach that next.

verified in beta3...no crashes anymore other than bugs filed.
