User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 When I've got a tab already open in a firefox window that I want to preserve or put on another screen or just in another window (to group them by subject) it's a very slow process - you can either ctrl-n and drag the icon to the new window or use the clipboard (losing your existing contents). you also lose all state information - videos that are halfway through you have to rebuffer and then skip forwards etc etc. and since they're loaded dynamically by flash there's no cache. half filled out forms and scroll position are lost etc etc. javascript applications like gmail and gcal have to reload. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. watch a video or start filling out a form in one of many tabs in a single window 2. decide you want to use the other monitor or put it in another window to group tabs by subject 3. fail Actual Results: i got tired and bored and lost all state information Expected Results: i am happy and use multiple windows and multiple monitors a lot more
