The Google favicon has been recently updated to a blue lowercase g. The icon for Google Reader in the Default Feed Viewer menu in the General preference pane is the old 'G in a box'. Perhaps we need to update our one.

It has the advantage of being smaller than the old one.

I think it's also harder to see clearly in this context, but Google's branding department didn't consult me before making the change :P

Landed on cvs trunk.  

I suppose we should consider taking this for the next branch release so the logo can keep up with the Joneses there.
