Most of the time, if not always, if I want to edit a bug, and in the meantime someone adds or removes themselves from the CC list of the bug, my edit on the bug is not affected by that. For example, if I'm posting a comment on a bug, and I get the mid-air collision page stating that john@smith.com has added himself to the CC list, I almost always copy my comments, return to the bug by clicking the "revisit bug nnn" link, paste the comment in the comments field, and proceed. This is even more cumbersome if I'm editing several bugs simultaneously and/or I edit a lot of the fields in a bug.

If changing to default behavior as to suppress the mid-air collision in case where the changes to the bug are *only* in the CC field is not acceptable, I'd like to request at least an option be added for such behavior which users can specify in their Preferences page.
You can click "Submit Anyway". This won't affect the CC list.

Thanks for the pointer, I didn't know it. I think it's misleading to state in the mid-air collision page that clicking Submit Anyway is going to undo the changes that others have made to that bug.
You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
