Topcrasher sites are continually timing out when trying to click on a crash report. Searching byVersion or byBranch will yield the same timeout.

Bug 455092 not about timeouts, it's about incorrect data.
Are you sure it must be closed as dupe?

If you check bug 444745, you'll see this bug was cloned once it was noticed that SeaMonkey topcrashes page was reporting zero incidents for all platforms for each signature mentioned.

Some communication with the cimmunity would be nice :)
For example, can someone blog the status of this? At the very least shouldn't the crash-stats page should explain what's going on? It's hard to make any plans when we don't know the situation with our critical tools.

We're in the process of documenting all refactored pieces of the system. I agree with Aaron, and a blog post in the works.

Topcrasher reports do not time out anymore as they use the summary tables Austin implemented in bug 426389. They are not properly grouped by build, however, which is tracked in bug 411354.
