Does Tools -> Error Console shows any calendar related messages? I can't reproduce your issue using Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 (20080708), Thunderbird 2.0.0.17pre (20080912), Lightning 0.8 (20080331) or Lightning 0.9 (20080913) on Windows XP.

Ciao Stefan. Background detail: this behaviour is related to: 1. I have installed 0.8 release, after I uninstall 0.8 and install 0.9 rc1 as is described in post #1. 2. I have installed 0.9 rc1 release, after I uninstall 0.9 rc1 and install 0.8 as is described in post #1.

Somebody should look into this problem before the release.

works for me, too (In reply to comment #3) ... > 2. I have installed 0.9 rc1 release, after I uninstall 0.9 rc1 and install 0.8 > as is described in post #1. We don't support downgrading, since the database schema has been upgraded with 0.9. (In reply to comment #0) > This issue not appears If, when I install lightinig I dont click on "restart" > button on add-ons manager, but simple close thunderbird. When I restart TB, no > problems. This paragraph makes me think it's not lightning related => not blocking 0.9.

(In reply to comment #5) Ciao Daniel. You are right for downgrading, but I think the problem it is upgrading. I try now upgrading 0.8 to 0.9 rc1 after to have disabled all my extension except lightning. The issue still appears...

After case described in comment #0, I cannot reproduce this issue using Thunderbird 3.0 and Lightining 1.0pre. I close this bug as WFM.
