User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1

I have Firefox set to open 7 different pages when started (specified in Tools / Options / Main / Startup / Homepage). Several pages require login and I have the user IDs and passwords saved within Firefox, plus I have a Master Password set. Firefox 2 used to present the "Password Required / Please enter the master password...." dialog box only once for this same set of home pages. Firefox 3 presents this dialog box once for each page that requires login. I can enter the master password once then "Cancel" the remaining boxes, but the behavior is not as efficient as Firefox 2. Until I enter the master password, there is some very annoying "attention getting" flickering to the Firefox button on the Windows START menu bar icon.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set firefox home page to several sites, each of which has a login form. Make sure firefox has "remembered" the login info for each page.
2. Set a master password for firefox.
3. Start firefox.
Actual Results:
one firefox master password dialog box for each site with a login form.

Expected Results:
expected a single instance of the firefox master password dialog box.
Summary: Multiple password dialogs when starting Mozilla. Multiple sites requiring login specified in "Home Page" → Multiple master password dialogs when starting firefox. Multiple sites requiring login specified in "Home Page"

This also happens if you restart Firefox after a crash and more than one of the recovered tabs requires a password. Especially annoying when you are in the middle of typing in the master password and another master password box appears in front of it and starts capturing the rest of your keystrokes.
I think so

Is this really a dupe of 356097? It seems to me more like bug 348997.
