If I have both calendars enabled. If while the program is starting the remote calendar is not available, Lightning does not show local calendar tasks. I have to uncheck the remote calendar and restart the application. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set up a local calendar 2.Set up a remote caldav calendar 3.Shutdown the caldav server 4.Restart the app Actual Results: Task are not shown

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b4pre) Gecko/20090308 Calendar/1.0pre: It works fine for using remote ics calendars. To simulate the error I turned off my internet connection. Juan, does this issue still exists using Thunderbird 3.0b2 or 3.0b3pre together with recent Lightning 1.0pre nightly test build? If yes: do you see any calendar related messages in Tools > Error Console?

We were not notifying all listeners, we forgot to notify the queued ones in case of an error.

Seems like this bug needs reopening. I have three local calendars and one remote one. When my internet connection is not available, I don´t get any tasks shown. I can also create new tasks and these are shown until I restart Thunderbird/Miramar. However, when I am connected or disable my remote calendar and restart Thunderbird, the tasks are then shown. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b13pre) Gecko/20110314 Thunderbird/3.3a3 Name=Lightning Version=1.0b4pre BuildID=20110418033922

Larsen, do you have the experimental cache enabled for that calendar?
Comment 12•13 years ago

No, I don´t. Should I?

Yes, if you would like to read your calendar while offline you need the experimental cache. We are working on full offline support, remember for now it is readonly.

I´ve activated the cache option, restarted TB and all data was shown. Strangely enough, after I disabled cache again and restarted, it was still working. Seems like it cannot be reproduced consistently...
