per the meeting we need a catch all article for users who are looking to downgrade. Article should include:

- description of why it's a bad idea to downgrade
-- security updates
-- missing bookmarks issue when re-upgrading
-- many issues are in the profile or caused by conflicts with 3rd party issues, waiting for a newer update isn't a good idea, ask a question instead

- list of common issues people have with Firefox 3 that can be fixed without downgrading
-- missing bookmarks
-- location bar history won't clear/clear private data no longer works
(there are more, just going off the top of my head)

this should probably be edits to and possibly a renamed version of http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+a+previous+version+of+Firefox
kk, i'll get started on the howto, but i don't know enough about the firefox3 bugs or their workarounds, someone will have to help me
Chris, review?
It focuses too much on vague ideas of the developers' hard work and doesn't give the user any practical reasons for sticking with 3, especially when Firefox 2 gets security updates for a time.

Needs to address this point from above:
-- many issues are in the profile or caused by conflicts with 3rd party issues,
waiting for a newer update isn't a good idea, ask a question instead

Keep in mind the focus of this article isn't to help people downgrade, it's to convince them to seek support to get Firefox 3 working as it should.
Resetting to default due to no activity for 6 months.

At this point this is probably a wontfix since we're likely shipping 3.5 next week.

If there are no objections, I'll just delete the draft. (giving it one week before I delete)
