Some new files seem to be missing. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/addons/2313/ doesn't show the Lightning 0.9 builds (dm-ftp01.mozilla.org in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT)). Provider for Google Calendar doesn't list version 0.5: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/addons/4631/ A friend told me that he got updates for these extensions offered, but Thunderbird now fails to get the files.
Failing updates confirmed by LpSolit, ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/sunbird/releases/ was also empty, cc-ing oremj
Summary: new files missing on server → new files missing on server, update fails
Raising severity to critical. This breaks updates on the most popular Thunderbird extension.
Severity: major → critical
The Admin CP shows the files as copied, which means they exist in the staging directory and aren't being copied to the mirrors. Justdave, can you check on this?
Moving to IT for more attention.

It looks like this is affecting all uploaded add-ons - they are shown as existing in the public staging area but are not being copied to the mirrors.
Stale lock on one of the admin servers. Cleared lock and am running rsync script manually. Will update bug when it finishes.

Rsync completed. Give it about ~30 minutes (or less) to sync out everywhere. If you are still seeing problems in an hour, please reopen the bug.

is there a way we can monitor this with nagios to make sure it's caught in the future?
(In reply to comment #9) > is there a way we can monitor this with nagios to make sure it's caught in the > future? I have a plan to fix the generic "stale locks" problem, but there are things we could do to better monitor our locks. If you'll file another bug to add nagios monitoring for this, I'll look into it more. Just assign it directly to me.
I've reported this problem yesterday to Bug 422562 #9 (does not seem to be a new issue).
Seems there is still something wrong; downloading the Solaris package I get: "Addon not found!" <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/downloads/file/38141/lightning-0.9-tb-solaris.xpi>
The source tarball is missing in ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/calendar/lightning/releases/0.9/ I filed a bug 458163 against this issue. Can someone fix it? Thanks
Bug 458163 is unrelated to this bug, the source tarball has to be on ftp.m.o before it can be on the mirrors, and the source isn't available through addons.m.o
