Hi, when firefox reports a web forgery, I'd like check it's source to make a decision about wether I want to ignore warning. But when I try to view source, I still get error page and ignore warning link is disabled.
steps to reproduce:
- visit http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html
- type Ctrl-U or select view-source
- Source window opens but stills shows forgery warning
- Clicking "Ignore this warning" does nothing.
So, I cannot check source of possible harmful page.
Also, when opening source window, I get following error:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIDOMLocation.hostname]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: about:blocked?e=phishingBlocked&u=view-source%3Ahttp%3A//en-us.www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html&s=blacklist&c=&d=The%20web%20site%20at%20%20has%20been%20reported%20as%20a%20web%20forgery%20designed%20to%20trick%20users%20into%20sharing%20personal%20or%20financial%20information. :: getHostString :: line 97" data: no]
It would be nice if web forgery page would not block source viewing.
- An error is thrown in console:
- Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIDOMLocation.hostname]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: about:blocked?e=phishingBlocked&u=view-source%3Ahttp%3A//en-us.www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html&s=blacklist&c=&d=The%20web%20site%20at%20%20has%20been%20reported%20as%20a%20web%20forgery%20designed%20to%20trick%20users%20into%20sharing%20personal%20or%20financial%20information. :: getHostString :: line 97" data: no]
