Do you get this in teh Firefox safemode ?
I have similar issue, In Firefox 3.6 I am creating JAVA instance in my extension.
And after that I load applet in browser. Applet was not getting loaded.
But if I start browser in safe mode, applet gets loaded.
So how can I resolve the issue if it works in safe mode but not in normal mode?

The difference between the safemode and the normal mode is that extensions and themes are not loaded in the safemode.
Disable the extensions Themes one by one under tools/addons/extensions if it works in the safemode.
There is an additional difference between the normal and the safemode (disabled jit) but that should not matter.
thanks for quick reply.
Does that mean in my case, one of the extensions is not allowing applet to be loaded.

it looks like that is the case unless you get this with all extensions disabled. In that case it could be the jit compiler.
