Whenever i do a search of users,communties or topics on orkut ( http://www.orkut.com/Main#UniversalSearch.aspx?searchFor=U ) and click on any profile from list i obtain from the search,the webpage goes back to my home page in Orkut ( http://www.orkut.com/Main#Home.aspx )  rather than taking me to that particular Profile  that i intend to see.I do not have this problem in IE 7.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Sign into Orkut
2.Go to http://www.orkut.com/Main#UniversalSearch.aspx?searchFor=U
3.Search for a User eg John and click on any profile from the list obtained.
Actual Results:  
Takes the user back to his homepage in Orkut( http://www.orkut.com/Main#Home.aspx )

Expected Results:  
The browser should actually take the user to the Profile selected from the searched list.

this is WFM using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3
can you try to reproduce while running Fx in safe-mode?
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

if it's okay in safe-mode disable your extensions one-by-one and re-check orkut. please post the culprit extension and its version here.

            You are dead right.The following add-on caused the problem:

Adblock Plus 0.7.5.5

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

adjusting status since nothing was "fixed" here. INVALID since it's an extension issue.
