I had to use System Restore (to Sept. 25, 2008) to get back Internet connection. Also had to turn off Microsoft firewall. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Please use http://support.mozilla.com (Forum, Live chat, knowledge database) for such support questions. Firefox works for most most users without problems after the upgrade.
