Crash Data

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3

I went to http://www.prosieben.de/wissen/multimedia/videos/videoplayer/50159/ , started playing video file,
and firefox crashed.

crash report: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/5aea894f-912f-11dd-84df-001cc45a2ce4?p=1

I can't reproduce it. It only happened the first time.

my extensions:

Flashblock 1.5.6
Image Zoom 0.3.1
Java Console 6.0.07
Linkification 1.3.5
Nightly Tester Tools 2.0.2
Update Channel Selector 1.0.3 [DISABLED]
Update Scanner 2.2.3

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
seems to be cause by the flash plugin itself.
I forgot to say that I use Flash Player 10 RC2

NPSWF32.dll Version 10.0.12.10

If it's a problem of flash plugin: You should contact adobe to solve that problem.

Furthermore, firefox shouldn't crash in any case - even if it's a problem of a plugin!
Plugins are running in the same process as Gecko and Gecko can not survive a crashing plugin running in a Thread. We have a RFE for running Plugins in a different process, please search yourself to find it.
Since I can not reproduce this crash with my Seamonkey trunk you should send feedback to adobe.
Adobe isn't interested in feedback from users. In past, I send some bug reports and ideas to adobe and I was really disappointed.

They wrote me an email answer and said that there's no technical support for private users. Instead, I should look on their homepage for technical documents, FAQ and so on....

I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
