1.open mozilla
2.go to url www.google.it
3.try to add to bookmarks google

how are you trying to add the bookmark? Using the star?

please try to reproduce in safe mode: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode

Are you using a Norton antivirus or another on demand antivirus/antispyware scanner?

Hi , 
i tried both with the star or with drag and drop to the bookmark bar.The problem was that it seemed random but very frequent and when firefox gave that error Error: Component returned failure code: 0x8052000b (NS_ERROR_FILE_CORRUPTED)
[nsINavBookmarksService.getBookmarkIdsForURI]

 I could no more add bookmarks until reboot.  
Example : i added 2 bookmarks with good result. Then the 3rd gave me the error and then it never works (until reboot...hehe)...
Unfortunately now i broke my disk and now I reinstall everithing and it' all OK.
In the old pc I had Kerio personal firewall and avg 6 installed.
I'm sorry but now i can't reproduce the error.
Now it's all working on the new Pc. :)

A german user reports that it depends on the current site if the error occurs.

Adding http://ed.agadak.net/2008/07/firefox-31-restricts-matches-keywords doesn't work.

instead this feels like a corrupt db case... i cannot repcoduce with any uri...
i'm marking as dupe of 464486 since from the error that should be a corruption case, but if you can provide steps to reproduce feel free to undo this change.
