Steps to reproduce: 1. Navigate to a page that has "same page" links. Any article at wikipedia should do nicely. 2. Activate a link which will take you to another section on the same page. (On wikipedia, any of the links under "Contents"). Expected results: An object:text-caret-moved event would be emitted for the anchor to which the caret just moved. Actual results: An object:text-caret-moved event is not emitted for the anchor to which the caret moved. As a result, ATs don't realize that the current location needs to be updated. Works as expected through: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080916020338 Minefield/3.1b1pre Fails beginning with: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20080917020400 Minefield/3.1b1pre Thanks!
This is most likely a regression from bug 454377, which was pushed on September 16.
