The first issue (cert viewer) is a duplicate of bug 421341.

Thanks for filing the bug.
Bug 932116 change the cert viewer to allow copying text, so that part's fixed.
The error pages that are now used by default allowing copying text.
Unfortunately, I doubt anybody is going to bother changing the error pop ups, since those are old, not used by default, and a fix wouldn't be at the PSM/Security:UI level anyways.
