It would be very nice if one could change the sound volume on every tab separately. For example web page like http://www.gamedesign.jp/flash/dice/dice.html has no sound settings, so you can't turn the sound off or decrease the volume. And when you have a different tab with another sound opened, the interfering mix of sounds is just not very pleasant.

duplicate of bug 334987, although it depends how they're solving the situation (only allowing the foreground tab to have sound is too restrictive).
Note the sound is played thru plugins (the <audio> tag is brand new), and there's currently no way to force those plugins to change their volume and/or shut off the sound.
