User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 For more than ten (10) years, I've 'copied and pasted' logins and passwords and other sensitive data from private files into the web browser. This avoids the possibility that keyboard tracking trojans could learn this sensitive information. Ever since Firefox moved to version 3.whatever, Firefox ADDS a 'space' to any information copied from other files into logins and passwords! This does NOT currently happen with Internet Explorer. The problem is so frustrating that I'm being 'driven back' to using IE rather than Firefox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to a web page login 2.Copy/paste the login, and then the password from an excel file 3.Fail the login because a 'space' was added (at the end) by the browser to both the login and password. Actual Results: exactly what was described above. I cannot and will not disclose the login information on multiple banking and savings files in which this happened.
