Details
The images are reloading every time the page is displayed. They should not
reload when the page is encounterred by use of the back/forward functions.

It looks good. Some things are still reloading occasionally, but based on
behaviour, I'd say it has more to do with the history flakiness (like
disabled back buttons, going back to incorrect points in the history...) than
anything else.
