the original tab opened in one session when dragged to another cannot be closed by pressing the blue x

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open two sessions of firefox
2.drag one of the original tabs into the other window
3.try to close it with the small blue x
Actual Results:  
the tab stayed open

Expected Results:  
closed the tab

Is this also reproducible in Firefox's safe mode, and if so, what do you mean by two sessions? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox)

I think I can confirm this. If "two sessions" means "two windows".
Reproduce:
- open two firefox windows, each with one tab
- drag tab from window A to window B
- URL of dragged tab is loaded in the original tab in window B and new empty tab is opened in window B
- it's not possible to close the newly opened tab
