User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 Under Linux, Firefox3 ignores any printer settings entered and system printer settings. Regardless of input (or system defaults) FF3 prints from MultiPurpose-tray non-duplex and upside down!. This is specifically a Forefox 3 issue - Firefox 2 works correctly. The printer used is an Epson C4200 via cups Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to any webpage 2. File | print 3. Check the printer settings are correct and the correct paper tray is selected (i.e. 'Cassette 1') 4. Press 'OK' Actual Results: The printer will now prompt for paper in the MultiPurpose tray, (even though cassette 1 was selected). If printing portrait, the page is also printed upside down - (i.e. the bottom of the page exits the printer first!) Expected Results: The printer should print via cassette 1 (and right way up) as per the dialogue. This is specifically a Firefox 3 issue. Firefox 2 (and every other application I have tried) prints properly.

This got fixed (somewhere back in Intrepid/Jaunty), and IS BROKEN AGAIN. Under Kubuntu Karmic (9.10)- latest version, fully up to date (Dec 16th 2009) firefox completely ignores the printer settings (both the cups defaults and the user specified settings in firefox) and always the printer will now prompt for paper in the MultiPurpose tray, and print upside down - (i.e. the bottom of the page exits the printer first!) Come on Guys - you fixed this before, please do so again. I haven't got a clue on this one!
