I'd like to suggest an similiar tab for javascript and stylesheets like media tab at page information window which show the filesize of loaded javascript libraries. thanks :)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Component: General → Page Info
QA Contact: general → page.info
i've just filled Bug 690737 - Page Info ▸ Media should also display subtitles files (SRT, WebVTT)
Since videos can now be displayed natively whereas subtitles still can't, it's interesting to know what page elements are loaded : video, subtitles and javasript polyfill.
Moreover it's very interesting to let the user know in a convenient way what are the Javascript elements loaded since they are invisible to him
Thanks
Note that Bug 582670 (There should be an option under Page Info/Permissions to block JavaScript for that particular domain) also aims at giving more control to the user over JavaScript (which is important since it's an hidden element for the user)
JSView extension adds tabs to the PageInfo window to show loaded CSS, JS and Frames.
I'd say this is extension fodder (or the OP could always use the developer tools)
My point is that Bug 582670 "There should be an option under Page Info/Permissions to block JavaScript for that particular domain" is about privacy, not developing.
JavaScript acts silently, it seems important to me to know if scripts are embedded in the page i visit.
For being able to block JavaScript selectively, you have 1st to list them (see present bug).

From a privacy perspective, we could imagine allow the user to block All JavaScript for a given site (block all JavaScript site by site) or to block each JavaScript element independtly.

Being able to handle JavaScript seems to me quite as important as being able to handle cookies.
Severity: normal → S3
