Although events are correctly synchronized between the Google Calendar and Lightning (through both .xml and .ics), events are incorrectly shifted in Lightning.
In particular:
Google Calendar event starting at 8:30am GMT-5
-> Lightning event starting at 2:30am GMT-5
Lightning event starting at 8:30am GMT-5
-> Google Calendar event starting at 14:30 GMT-5
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create event in Google Calendar with GMT-5 setup
2. Sync with Lightning
and vice-versa.

Reporter, have you correctly configured your local timezone in Lightning? The timezone setting of your operating system must the same as in Lightning. Also your Google and Lightning timezones should be the same to see the events at the expected time.
