Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3
When browsing a list of items and clicking on a listing to see details, when I click the "back" button I am taken back to the top of the page instead of to the listing I was just viewing. It will go to the item I was viewing and then quickly flips back to the top of the page. Very vexing to have to scroll back down to where I was to continue browsing listings. I loaded the Opera Browser yesterday to compare results and in Opera this is not happening. It also was not happening in earlier versions of Mozilla.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to ebay site
2.click on "buy"
3.select a category; happens in all categories
4.scroll down the list and click on an item to see details
5.click "back" to return to list
Actual Results:
You will be returned very briefly to the item's place on the list and then flipped back to the top of the page
Expected Results:
You should have been returned to the place on the list where the item was that you just viewed the details on so that you could continue on down the rest of the page from there, instead of having to scroll all the way down from the top of the page
I uninstalled and re-installed Mozilla just a few minutes ago to see if there might have been a fix since my last install. Noticed no difference.
