User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092414 Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.18pre) Gecko/20080917 Sunbird/0.9 If you either create a new event or modify an existing one by dragging the end time off the bottom of the calendar, the drag box disappears. I would expect the view to scroll down as the end time is extended past the visible area. In addition, after attempting to create a new event in this manner, it appears that one can no longer select any event. Sunbird must be restarted before one can select (or right-click) a single event. You can edit an existing event by double-clicking on it, but simple selection by single-clicking fails (instead, the entire day is selected). This makes it difficult to create an event that is longer than the viewable area. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click and hold the mouse in the timeline area. 2. Drag down until the end time is into the Status Bar. Actual Results: The event box disappears. In addition, one can no longer select events. Expected Results: The view should scroll down to accommodate the drag operation. This only seems to happen if the Status Bar is enabled. The workarounds -- e.g. making the viewable area bigger, or decreasing the time resolution in the timeline -- are cumbersome. One could also create a short event, then manually edit the end time in the event editor.
