I was running out of room for a text object. So I used manual kerning to move one word to the other side of an object that was in the way. Looked fine in Inkscape, but Firefox 3.0.3 ignored the kerning.

The test case attached has three files. The first is the SVG. Look for "Glencrutchery Rd". This object should have "Rd" to the right of the start/finish line (the checkered fill). However, Firefox 3.0.3 shows "Rd" on top of the start/finish line.

The second file is a PNG. It shows what we should see as rendered by Inkscape. The final file is how FIrefox 3.0.3 renders it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. View the attached SVG.
2. Look for "Glencrutchery Rd".
3. "Rd" should be to the right of the start/finish line.
Actual Results:
"Rd" is on top of the start/finish line

Expected Results:
"Rd" should be to the right of the start/finish line.

Look for the text "Glencrutchery Rd". "Rd" should be to the right of the start/finish line.

Notice the position of "Rd"
The "R" in "Rd" is covered up.
Please provide a minimised testcase.
