You're receiving this email because your about:rights has been translated. Please let us know in this bug when you consider the translation vetted and ready for "non-beta" use. We look forward to hear from you. You just need to give us the OK to backport and we will do that when ready. You can indicate that your version is ready for backporting by setting the url of this bug to a link to you repository's browser/chrome/browser dir with the revision to import, as in this example for German: http://hg.mozilla.org/l10n-central/de/file/dda524a74899/browser/chrome/browser/ FYI: you can find the updated release schedule for Firefox 3.0.5 here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_3.0.5#Schedule Because we are making localization changes to about:rights in this release, the l10n-team will back-port all l10n translations from Hg to CVS for Firefox 3.0.5 (Gecko 1.9.0.5) after the freeze date of November 28 at 11:59 PM (Mountain View Time). It obviously benefits us if you can let us know as soon as possible, but we know how busy you are, so please let us know if/how we can help. (We will begin our back-porting after November 17.)
Seth, Thanks for your notice. I'm afraid of our translation about end-user rights without legal survey. Acutally legal terms is very difficult to be translated. As you know, Firefox 3.1 is not released still beta period. It means local translation of EULA such as about:rights must be considered by legal survey for terms and context. But, back-porting to Firefox 3.0 must be more considered because 3.0 is officially released.
Channy: Do you need help with a legal review of your translation? We can provide that. Also, we are asking for you to submit a patch that will be approved and landed on the 1.9.0.5 branch for Firefox 3.0.5. You are correct that it is officially released, but new changes are landing in FF 3.0.5 and when users are asked to update, they will receive the new about:rights information. Does this seem clear?
I have now landed the en-US version for 3.0.5, but we're still having a small window 'til the end of the week to take patches to update those with translated versions. See http://bonsai-l10n.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?treeid=default&module=all&branch=HEAD&branchtype=match&dir=&file=&filetype=match&who=&whotype=match&sortby=Date&hours=2&date=explicit&mindate=2008-11-24+8%3A50%3A00&maxdate=2008-11-24+9%3A00%3A00&cvsroot=%2Fl10n for the check-in log for this landing. If you want to update the translation, please attach a patch now and request approval1.9.0.5 (or .6, if it misses the window for .5). Make sure that you're updating the webservices-c entity including the entity references inside, see http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsview2.cgi?command=DIFF&subdir=mozilla%2Fbrowser%2Flocales%2Fen-US%2Fchrome%2Fbrowser&file=aboutRights.dtd&rev1=1.1&rev2=1.3&whitespace_mode=show&diff_mode=context for the diff for en-US.

Comment on attachment 350187 [details] [diff] [review] aboutRights patch for Korean Thanks for the patch, but there's a remaining problem in this one. The entity references in rights.webservices-c-190 need to point to the 1.9.0.x entities, &tellMaybeAttackSite.label; and &tellMaybeForgery.label; Can you provide an updated patch?
