Shouldn't this be handled by the "clear all" feature in the preferences?
I meant this to be done from the bookmark app.
from history or from bookmarks? We shouldn't have a delete history item in bookmarks manager

History is currently cleared using the sanitize code in Preferences
I think this functionality is provided by clear private data. If I'm wrong reopen

preferences->clear all does a good job of clearing the history and many other user based profile changes. Verified with 20091001 1.9.2 beta4 candidate on my n810
