Details

Navigate to http://silverlight.net/showcase/ Click a few of the apps, and navigate around, wait a bit. What you see is that the previous page is being drawn again on the new page. Possibly from reusing the textures. However, it is inverted and in the bottom corner. Note to that same scenario works just fine in Firefox 3.0.3. Silverlight is not being called to redraw in the extra location, we have been properly unloaded between pages, and no update is called to Silverlight. Firefox appears to just be reusing the texture and it contains the previous Silverlight image.
Have you tested this with the latest nightly build ? There was bug 459530 wit the same symptoms (mostly focussed on Flash). http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ On a (unrelated) note: why do so many SilverLight sites decide that my browser(s) is (are) not good enough, simply because they don't have the Firefox UA string (Minefield, Camino) ?
We're still seeing it with the latest build that we downloaded today (Nov 18).
The best way to figure out what caused this is to find a regression range. You can find that by going to http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2008/ and performing and binary search till you have a one day range. You should only care about the builds in folders ending -mozilla-central. Since it was broken between FF3 and FF3.1 b1 it's sometime between June and mid-October.
Sorry about the churn, but we just had our test team re-check it and it's been fixed in the latest trunk already. I guess it was a dupe of the Flash one.
