the form / cookie / image manager is just excellent beyond words. to truly be
the ultimate, there should be similar controls for enabling/disabling java and
javascript for various sites.

Agreed. This would be a nice thing to have. There's backend for this already, at
least for Javascript, using configurable security (see
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/components/configPolicy.html ). You can
configure a site-specific policy for the "javascript.enabled" property by hand-
editing your prefs file. As for a frontend a la Cookie Manager, that would be
nice, but it ain't gonna happen before NS6. Look for it in the NS6.1 time frame
maybe.
