User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4 With text set in the mu typography, the first muglyph in each row of muglyphs is out of alignment with the following muglyphs in the row. This does not happen with Safari or Internet Explorer. The mu typography will soon come into wide use on the Internet. When reading text set in interactive movable type ("nutext") users will avoid Firefox if this deficiency is not corrected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a Web page with text set in the mu typography, such as http://mudoc.com/mutypogr.htm or http://www.mudoc.com/crwr/crwrscr1.htm 2. Look at rows of muglyphs on each page. 3. Check horizontal alignment of the myglyphs in each row. Actual Results: Rows of muglyphs are out of alignment when using Firefox, but are properly aligned when using Safari and Internet Explorer. Expected Results: Properly aligned muglyphs in each row of muglyphs. The misalignment problem discussed above could prove to be a major detriment to Firefox use and acceptance if and when the mu typography comes into wide. I urge you to make corrections to rectify this deficiency in Firefox.
