If an executable file contains extractable files and it is downloaded with FireFox, the virus scanner fails to detect the virus contained with in it when activated by FireFox (you have to manually activate the antivirus to scan it).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download a virus such as http://www.personalizedmementos.com.au/postcard/postcard.exe

2. it will not detect the virus.

Firefox just uses the OS function to call the virus scanner.
If it fails to detect the virus you should ask the support of your Antivirus product (if it detects for example the eicar testfile.

I hope your link is no real virus and only a testvirus !
