When drag and dropping a tab then changing mind, trying to leave the tab in place, a new window is created with the tab. Steps to reproduce : Open two tabs in one window Drag one tab around Drop it on the same tab where you took it It creates a new tab when it should do nothing. With Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; fr; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081124 Minefield/3.1b2pre

i can confirm
I think it should do nothing because I see many use cases where the user does want a new window created when dropping directly on the tab been dragged : 1. Reordering tabs then just changing mind and putting it back where it was. 2. Accidentally dragging it then putting it back in place. 3. Any other case where the user just changes his mind. Futhermore this behaviour would consistent with other drag and drop implementation like windows explorer or google chrome. When dropping at the initial dragging point nothing happens...
